Coral Cave
Coral Cave is situated just below Coral Gardens, a shallow bay to the left of the Blue Hole. Upon leaving Coral Gardens and descending the drop-off, divers will encounter the vast entrance to the cavern, its top sitting at 17m and descending to a maximum depth of around 30m.
The entrance, an impressive 30m across. Initially it is lined with boulders, but the cave's bottom becomes silty upon entry, sloping up to 20m toward the back.
The cave's walls are adorned with colourful coral and sponges, creating a captivating tapestry. Upon reaching the cavern's rear, a second, smaller entrance appears. Divers are strongly advised to exercise caution here and refrain from entering without extensive cave training. The view from the rear of the cave is enchanting, prompting divers to move slowly, take their time, and savour the magical sight of the deep blue framed by the cave's silhouette.
After exiting the cave, divers can proceed towards Big Bear and Little Bear, two distinctive rock formations, before returning to Coral Gardens for the safety stop to conclude the dive. This is a stunning dive, especially for those who relish exploring caves and caverns— an experience not to be missed.
