Malta's status as a top global diving destination has once again been solidified, this time through gaining the prestigious title of diving destination of the year at Boot Düsseldorf Dive Awards 2025.

The award was decided by a panel of experts, including respected diving publications, professionals, and key figures in the international diving community. The Malta Tourism Authority stated that Malta outshone other contenders with its professional diving infrastructure and unparalleled opportunities for divers of all levels.
