Becoming a PADI diving Instructor: Solal heads to Malta for the IDC

Our own glamorous PADI Divemaster, Solal Couilloud, heads off for the PADI IDC (Instructor Development Course) and IE (Instructor Examination) in Malta today, and we wish him the best of luck!

After a successful year as part of the Blue Waters team in 2023 as a PADI Divemaster, Solal plans to re-join us for the 2024 season, this time as a fully qualified PADI Instructor.

We will provide regular updates on Solal’s progress through the Instructor Development Course (IDC) and Instructor Examination (IE), offering you insight into the final stages of his journey toward becoming a PADI professional.

We have dedicated numerous hours to refining Solal's dive skills, teaching techniques, briefing methods, rescue skills, and theoretical knowledge to ensure he is fully prepared to demonstrate the high standards we uphold here at Blue Waters to the PADI examiners.
